OWEN M. VANDERKOLK grew up in Southwest Washington. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Washington and his law degree from New England Law | Boston, where he received a Dean’s Scholarship, was named to the Dean’s List, and served as an Associate Member of the New England Law Review. He is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and Washington. Before joining Speidel Bentsen, Mr. Vanderkolk worked with KPMG LLP and KPMG Law US LLC, where his practice involved state and local tax exposure analysis, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, and closely held business transactions. He has experience with entity structuring, tax analysis, contract drafting, title research, and real estate transactions. He is currently serving as Secretary of the Chelan-Douglas Bar Association.
